Waste recycling program

Al-Esraa University has actively committed to a comprehensive program for recycling the majority of waste types produced via routine campus operations. This program was created using a strong waste management strategy that the EU had established. The program was started with the intention of lessening the influence on our world while taking into account the global environmental challenges.

Our extensive waste recycling program can be summed up using the following crucial components:

- We have established long-term agreements and contracts with outside businesses engaged in the recycling of several types of waste, including paper and plastic. We are implementing single stream recycling with the help of a local contractor, making it simple for professors and students to figure out what can be recycled.

- All of our campus' trash cans have three designated barriers, which greatly facilitates recycling. Electronic garbage is disposed of using a special container.

 - Our green spaces' and lands' soil is improved by converting organic wastes into organic fertilizer.

- Our University and students have run a thorough education campaign to raise awareness of recycling rubbish and its potential benefits for the environment. These efforts covered a wide range of media, including seminars, posters, and booklets.
