Water recycling program

  1. Water conservation policy: By the year 2030, a water neutral campus is the goal of the water conservation strategy.
  2. Ponds or earthen tanks are used to collect greywater and rainwater. The water is then pumped into treatment facilities to produce potable water. Following treatment, the water is gathered in tanks and pumped to the university water supply. The majority of the treated water is used to irrigate the many green spaces around the University.
  3. The treated greywater serves as the primary water source for fire sprinkler systems and flushing basins. water that has been cleaned up greywater. These machines can create pure water or any other type of water needed for consumption and medical needs.
  4. On campus, treated water is used for a variety of purposes. It is used for irrigation, fire sprinkler systems, flushing toilets, and cleaning.
