Programmatic accreditation standards for nursing programs

A reference to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority/the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation/the Accreditation Department to announce the programmatic accreditation standards for nursing programs.

Al-Esraa University also expanded with all its capabilities in order for the College of nursing to obtain programmatic accreditation through:

  1. Hosting specialists from members of the Iraqi Council for Accreditation of nursing Programs and specialists to conduct seminars and workshops on how to write a self-evaluation report, improvement plan, and conformity report. 
  2. Issuing a university order to form a team to write the self-evaluation report and improvement plan. 
  3. Completing the writing of the program self-assessment report (SAR) for nursing according to the attached Council standards. 
  4. Writing an improvement plan and gap analysis. 
  5. Implementation of the improvement plan. 
  6. Preparing a conformity form and report in accordance with the Council’s programmatic standards.
