Programmatic accreditation standards for pharmacy programs

A reference to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority/the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation/the Accreditation Department to announce the programmatic accreditation standards for Pharmacy programs.

Al-Esraa University also expanded with all its capabilities in order for the College of Pharmacy to obtain programmatic accreditation through:

  1. Hosting specialists from members of the Iraqi Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs and specialists to conduct seminars and workshops on how to write a self-evaluation report, improvement plan, and conformity report. (Done)
  2. Issuing a university order to form a team to write the self-evaluation report and improvement plan. (Done)
  3. Completing the writing of the program self-assessment report (SAR) for Pharmacy according to the attached Council standards. (Done)
  4. Writing an improvement plan and gap analysis. (Done)
  5. Implementation of the improvement plan. (Done)
  6. Preparing a conformity form and report in accordance with the Council’s programmatic standards. (Done)
  7. Sending an accreditation application accompanied by a conformity report and a self-evaluation report to the Accreditation Department in the Ministry and awaiting the Council’s report. (Done)
  8. Work continuously to update the reports and improvement plan annually in order to reduce the gap.
